Hadi Exchange to expand branch network to 15 from 9; Bags ‘Best Workplace’ title

Hadi Express Exchange, one of the leading money transfer service providers in the UAE, has embarked on an expansion plan to increase its network to 15 branches from the current nine, and migrate to online platform to serve its customers better and efficiently.

“We are planning to introduce our online platform for the benefit and convenience of our increasing number of customers as well as to not lose business to banks that are aggressively promoting online money transfer,” General Manager Albin Thomas said on the sideline of a press conference to announce its induction into the 12th Annual list of “Best Workplaces in the UAE”.

The exchange has been ranked seven among Top 10  “Best Workplaces in the UAE” for 2022 on March 30th, at an event hosted by The Great Place to Work team in association with their strategic media partner Forbes Middle East, at FIVE Palm Jumeirah Hotel, Dubai.

The recognition is a global authorisation awarded to an organisation for maintaining a high-trust and high-performance workplace culture and for creating employee-friendly workplace.

“We are mainly focused on the Asia corridor, and we are planning to expand our services to other GCC countries, Egypt and the Mena region. We do not have correspondent bank arrangement in these countries, so we will start that service also,” he said.

On the remittance trend to India, Thomas said remittances have been growing ever since the Covid-19 pandemic has been under control and the Indian rupee has been depreciating. Remittances through Hadi Exchange to Kerala has grown 20% in 2021 over the previous year.

Meanwhile, in another survey to determine individuals and corporates for best services and most customer-centric innovative practices, the renowned agency “MEA Markets” UAE has adjudged Hadi Exchange as being “The Most Customer Centric Currency Exchange 2022,” at the annual UAE Business Awards recently. 

This award aims at recognising major contributors in the Middle East markets relishing the dynamics of the Middle East knowledge base. The recognition has been a result of data available in the public domain as well as analysis of all information available online and offline.
