Mark & Save launches ‘Million Dreams’ campaign

Retail major plans to expand outlet network in UAE

Retail chains and supermarkets in the UAE are gaining as consumers are increasingly shifting towards value retail due to general inflation and adverse economic conditions.

Retail chains, including hypermarket chain Mark & Save, could survive the economic conditions in spite of increased freight costs, according to Nawas Basheer K.P, Director of Mark & Save, one of the UAE’s leading hypermarket chains.

“Customer purchase is shifting towards value retail, and this has helped us maintain a sizeable footprint in our outlets,” he said.

Value retail is a shopping sector focused on providing branded or unbranded goods at lower, discounted prices through discount stores or outlets.

He said Mark & Save is planning to open more outlets in the region. In the UAE, where the chain has 10 stores, the company expects a 50% to 60% growth in footfall per day.

He also announced the launch of its new ‘Million Dreams’ campaign.

With the mega promotion, the chain is aiming to increase daily footfall 65,000 to 100,000.

The ‘Million Dreams’ campaign offers customers an opportunity to win a range of prizes, including a mega cash prize of AED 200,000, 13 new cars and other rewards.

Running from October 1 to December 31, 2026, across all Mark & Save stores in the UAE, the campaign gives customers who shop for AED100 or more the opportunity to win an exciting range of prizes.

In addition to a mega cash prize of AED200,000, the campaign will award 13 brand-new cars and several other valuable prizes.

Prizes in the Million Dreams campaign include AED200,000 mega cash prize, 13 brand-new cars — 6 Kaiyi X7 and 7 Kaiyi X3 Pro, 100 gold coins weighing one gramme each, 10 iPhone 17 Pro devices, 10 55-inch Smart TVs and 200 shopping vouchers worth AED200 each.
