Cutis International Cosmetic Clinic, Dubai-based hair transplant, skincare clinic and cosmetics chain, is embarkingon a major expansion of its footprint and diversification to cosmetics & aesthetic clinics and plastic surgery clinics.

“Our business strategy is to expand our footprint in the GCC and India and diversification to various verticals and adding more services to increase the turnover from the current AED60 million to AED300 million by 2030,” said Mr Jayan K, Vice Chairman & CEO, Cutis Cosmetic Clinics.

He was addressing the press along with Cutis International Chairman Dr Shajeer Machincheri, to announce a breakthrough in hair transplantation procedure called ‘Long Hair Transplant.”

The new procedure is FUT (Follicular Unit Transplant) in which hair follicles are harvested from the donor area by removing a strip of the scalp, as against the earlier procedure of FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) in which individual follicles are extracted and transplanted. This means long hair could be transplanted without shaving off the scalp and the entire procedures will be completed in a week’s time.

“We want to be one of the top three cosmetic clinics or aesthetic clinic network in the region,” said Dr Shajeer Machincheri.

“Our strategy is to become one of the top three cosmetic clinic networks, encompassing skin care, hair care and plastic surgery, with Dubai has the headquarters,” said Mr Jayan K.

Cutis is currently starting projects in Saudi Arabia and Qatar, expecting to commission them in six months, and plan to expand into other GCC countries and potentially add more units in the UAE and Oman.

Originating in Kerala, India, Cutis has broadened its footprint, establishing a network of 15 branches, including six in Kerala, one in Karnataka, one in the UK, three in the UAE, one each in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Oman.

Cutis International started its journey over 11 years ago when a group of expert dermatologists, doctors and hair experts came together to take a bold step towards making advanced hair treatments affordable. Their vision was not only to bring the very latest technologies in hair transplantation and cosmetic procedures to Kerala but also to make them more accessible and affordable to the common man.

Cutis International Cosmetic Clinic stands prominently as a distinguished leader in the realm of hair transplant and dermatology services, proudly serving a diverse clientele exceeding 100,000 individuals worldwide, said a statement.
